Chu Sau Lei Wing Chun Singapore has its roots in Yip Man lineage and was established by Sifu Wang in 2006. Over the years it has developed as one of the premier Chinese Martial Arts Schools in Singapore. Our mission is to teach our students practical and authentic Wing Chun Kung Fu for health, fitness and self-defence.
Steven is the head instructor of CSL Wing Chun in Singapore. He is a lifelong martial artist enthusiast, as a child, he started practising Judo and Shaolin Kempo for more than 20 years. He also practised Bak Mei Kung Fu (White Eyebrow) and completed the Wing Chun Yip Chun lineage. Steven is proud to be a student of world-renowned masters.
Steven is now fully dedicated to sharing his knowledge and experience in CSL Wing Chun and Qi Gong to all who are interested.
Here are some of his accomplishments:
Thomas is a 10th Level CSL Wing Chun assistant Instructor and certified 6-13-3 Qi Gong instructor. He has trained CSL Wing Chun for more than 10 years and further holds Black Belts and 2nd Dan degrees in both Karate and Tae Kwon Do.
Thomas used to be an avid competitor and fought in many local and international tournaments.
Gladdy is an 8th Level Assistant instructor at CSL Wing Chun. He used to practice Tae Kwon Do for more than 12 years and holds a 2nd-degree black belt.
Gladdy participated in several local and international San Da and Tae Kwon Do tournaments.
Laurence is an 8th Level Assistant instructor at CSL Wing Chun and has been training Chinese Martial arts since his early teens. In his younger years, he practised Shaolin, Southern Style Praying Mantis and Fujian White Crane, the latter for more than 10 years.
For the past 7 years, Laurence is fully dedicated to learning and teaching CSL Wing Chun.
Hawkins Cheung was a student of Yip Man and a good friend of Bruce Lee. After completing his Wing Chun training in the ’70 he moved to California, USA.
GGM Cheung is also a 3rd Dan Goyu Karate and Yang Tai Chi master. GGM Cheung now 78 years of age, still lives and teaches private students in the USA.
Robert Chu is the founder and head of the Chu Sau Lei Family with several branches in Europe, SE Asia and America. He teaches Yip Man Wing Chun as taught by Hawkins Cheung. He also proficient in Yuen Kay-San and Gulao Wing Chun, Tai Chi, Xing Yi and Shaolin systems of martial arts.
Robert is the author and co-author of several books and has been featured in Kung Fu Masters, Black Belt Magazine, Inside Kung Fu, Martial Arts Legends, Martial Arts Combat Sports and other magazine publications. He has a regular monthly column in Wing Chun Illustrated.
Alan Orr is a world-renowned Martial Arts teacher. He is regarded as a modern Wing Chun Master and has been on the cover on MAI Magazine twice and has written hundreds of articles and is also the editor of MMA Uncaged magazine. He is a qualified Acupuncturist, Master Practitioner of Tui Na Chinese Massage Therapy, NLP Practitioner, Martial Arts Teacher, Holistic Personal Trainer. CST Coach. Alan is the European and Australasian Head of Chu Sau Lei Wing Chun Association and holds an 8th-degree black belt in Wing Chun and black belts in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu and Eskrima.
