I have previously learnt different martial arts (wushu), and have also dabbled in wing chun a little. CSL has taught me more about the importance of body structure and how to apply it in Wing Chun. I like that we learn something more in-depth as opposed to just the external facade of the techniques. Perhaps more importantly, we also practise meditation to calm the mind and this, to me, is a very important aspect of martial arts that is often neglected. My schedule only allows me to go for training once a week (at most), but it is something I often look forward to as it helps me to keep my mind off work and allows me to relax.
